Each week offers a unique, thoughtfully designed experience that blends nature, movement, music, and imaginative play. No two classes are the same. Every session is intentionally created to spark curiosity, support early development, and give both parent and child the opportunity to discover what they enjoy—side by side.

We’ve created something different: a multi-sensory, ever-evolving series that incorporates outdoor exploration, creative movement, music, imitation, and play-based learning. Through these shared experiences, children build confidence and curiosity, while parents gain deeper insight into their child’s interests, rhythms, and growth.

A gentle, joyful space where you and your little one can explore, connect, and grow—together.

a Parent & Me Discovery Series

Little Adventures & Curious Explorers

Ages 0–3

Presented by Nature & Nourish Birthing Co.

Rooted in Community & Connection

This is a gentle, judgment-free environment where you can show up exactly as you are. We honor that every child is different, and participation may look different each week—and that’s more than okay. There’s no pressure, no expectations—just space for your child to explore, observe, and engage at their own pace.

At the heart of this series is community—a welcoming, supportive space for both parents and children.

Each class is designed to feel relaxed, flexible, and supportive—for both you and your child. We offer open-ended play, sensory experiences, and gentle guidance to encourage curiosity, confidence, and connection. You’re always welcome to follow your child’s lead, take breaks, or simply observe—whatever feels right for you both in the moment. You’ll find baskets of thoughtfully chosen materials and activities that invite exploration without pressure, allowing children to engage in their own unique way.

At the same time, this space is for you, too—a chance to slow down, connect with your child, and be part of a community of parents navigating similar moments.

Let's connect, learn and grow together

Each class is a 45-minute guided experience filled with playful activities, movement, storytelling, and hands-on exploration tailored to babies and toddlers.

With rotating weekly themes like Space Explorers, Farm on the Go, Dinosaur Discovery, and Teddy Bear Picnics, every session brings something new and exciting to explore.

Designed to be flexible and engaging, children are encouraged to explore at their own pace—whether that means joining in, observing, or discovering something entirely new.

Frequently Asked Questions & Class Guidelines

What Does a Typical Class Look Like?

Each class follows a gentle and familiar structure so children know what to expect, while still introducing new themes and activities each week to keep things exciting. A typical class may include:

  • Class Introductions: We begin by gathering together and welcoming everyone. This is a time for children and parents to settle in and get comfortable.
  • Welcome Song or Movement Activity: We start with a fun hello song, simple stretches, or light movement to help children warm up, regulate their bodies, and transition into class time.
  • Theme of the Week: Each class introduces a new weekly theme connected to nature, creativity, or early learning.
  • Creative Activity: Children and parents participate in an activity that may include crafts, music and instruments, dance and movement, puppets and storytelling, sensory exploration, sharing & connection, children are invited to share what they created or experienced, and we often incorporate their creations back into the theme of the day.
  • Nature Treasure Hunt: We finish our activity time with a fun treasure hunt or nature exploration, encouraging children to observe the environment and engage their curiosity.
  • Goodbye Song: We close the class with a goodbye song to help children transition and signal the end of structured class time.
  • Mingle & Community Time: After class, families are welcome to stay and network, socialize, and connect with other parents and children in the community.

What ages is this class for?

Our classes are designed for babies and toddlers ages 0–3 years old. We understand that not every child will be interested in the same activity every day — and that’s completely okay.

Children grow, learn, and engage in different ways depending on the day, their mood, and their developmental stage. Our goal is to create a relaxed, inclusive, and supportive environment where parents and children can bond, explore, and enjoy the experience together. Older siblings and relatives are welcome to join, as long as there is an understanding that the activities are primarily designed for younger children.

Why are classes combined age groups?

Our classes are intentionally designed as mixed-age groups (0–3 years old). Younger children often learn by watching older children, which can spark curiosity, confidence, and new skills. At the same time, older children naturally begin to take on leadership roles, helping guide and support the younger ones. This dynamic encourages important social and emotional development such as:
  • Compassion
  • Leadership
  • Confidence
  • Patience
  • Helping and supporting others

Every child learns differently, and mixed-age environments allow children to learn from one another while developing empathy and connection. Our instructors also guide activities so all ages feel included, with variations that work for babies and toddlers alike.

What makes this class unique?

Our classes combine nature, play, and bonding activities to create a meaningful experience for both parents and children.
Being outdoors allows children to:

  • Explore natural environments
  • Support emotional regulation through fresh air and movement
  • Engage their senses through nature-based play
  • Build curiosity, creativity, and confidence

Each class follows the same general structure, but the activities change regularly so children always have something new and exciting to experience. Every child develops at their own pace, and our goal is to provide a space where they can explore freely without pressure.

can siblings attend?

Yes! Additional children who wish to participate can attend for a $15 fee per child.

Babies 3 months and younger attend free, and additional parents or family members may attend at no extra cost.

What should I bring to class?

Please bring:
  • A blanket, towel, or mat to sit on
  • Sunblock and hats for outdoor protection
  • Diapers and wipes if needed
  • Any baby essentials your child may need

Because classes are held outdoors, we recommend dressing both you and your child comfortably for the weather.
We will have extra blankets available for a small rental fee to help cover laundry and cleaning costs. Blankets may also be reserved in advance through our website.

Are food or snacks allowed?

To help keep all children safe, no outside food is allowed during class, except for:
  • Bottles
  • Infant pouches or baby food

We kindly ask that children arrive already fed before class begins.

This policy helps protect children with food allergies. For example, if a child eats something containing peanut butter and then touches a shared item, another child with an allergy could potentially have a reaction. We appreciate everyone's understanding in helping create a safe and thoughtful environment for all families.

Are diaper changing options available?

Yes. We will have:
  • A designated outdoor changing mat area
  • A small trash can available for diapers and other trash

Because we are in a shared outdoor environment, we kindly ask that parents cover their child as much as possible during diaper changes, using a towel if possible since other families and children will be nearby. We will also have available:
  • A soap bottle
  • A water bottle for rinsing
  • Towels for basic hand cleaning

Is breastfeeding allowed during class?

Absolutely. Breastfeeding is welcome.
We do suggest using a cover if possible, simply to help maintain a comfortable environment for all families attending the class.

What activities are available for babies under one year?

For babies 12 months and younger, we will provide smaller toys and sensory items such as:
  • Rattles
  • Soft sensory toys
  • Plush toys

Babies are always welcome to play with these at any time during class.

Does my child have to participate in activities?

Not at all. Our goal is to create a fun, stress-free environment. Children are welcome to participate, observe, explore, or take breaks whenever they need. There is no pressure to participate in any activity.

what happens if it rains or if a class is canceled?

We reserve the right to cancel or postpone classes if:
  • Minimum enrollment is not met
  • The instructor becomes sick
  • There is an emergency
  • Force Majeure

If weather affects an outdoor class, we may provide an alternate indoor location within the same city where the class is scheduled. If an alternate location cannot be secured, you may choose to reschedule or receive a refund.

If a class is canceled:
  • Unlimited pass holders
  • May reschedule for another class
  • Drop-in pass holders
  • May choose to be refunded or reschedule

how did this class begin?

As a mother myself, I realized how important it is for children to develop at their own pace.

Parents often feel pressure to keep up with societal expectations and developmental milestones. I wanted to create a class where families could connect, slow down, and enjoy the parenting journey without pressure. This class was designed to be fun, thoughtful, and supportive for both children and parents.

Do I need to sign up in advance?

Yes! We’d love to have you join—spaces are limited and classes tend to fill up quickly, so we recommend signing up soon.
